Published on

CMWU, funded by UNICEF, installed emergency water tanks on the coastal road in Rafah serving informal camping areas.

As part of the activities and interventions being implemented by CMWU's technical teams, and to secure safe drinking water sources for displaced persons wherever they are located, funded by UNICEF, several emergency water tanks, each with a capacity of 10 cubic meters, were established and installed today along the coastal road of Rafah city with filling points. The water utility's tankers fill them around the clock with desalinated water to enable displaced residents, particularly in informal camping areas, to obtain their needs of drinking water.
