Installation of Rubber Water Tanks at Shelter Centers in Central and Southern Gaza Strip

CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, installed rubber tanks at shelter centers not served by water networks in central and southern Gaza.

As part of ongoing efforts to provide drinking water, CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, installed 5-cubic-meter rubber water tanks at a number of shelter centers and population centers not served by water networks in various areas of the central and southern Gaza Strip.

This project aims to ease the suffering of displaced persons and residents by ensuring drinking water reaches the target areas, with the tanks filled regularly via the water utility's desalinated water tankers.

This comes as a continuation of the water utility's efforts to serve residents and displaced persons, and secure drinking water amid difficult conditions.
