CMWU, funded by the World Food Programme, widened the Al-Qashash wadi channel in Nuseirat to prevent rainwater flooding of neighboring homes.
CMWU, in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality and funded by the World Food Programme (WFP), began works to widen the Al-Qashash wadi channel.
The works include cleaning and widening the wadi channel, and rehabilitating it to receive and accommodate rainwater quantities, avoiding flooding and drowning incidents for homes neighboring the wadi channel. The works also include cleaning the culverts located within the channel.
