CMWU, funded by Oxfam, installed rubber tanks at 10 points in Abasan Al-Kabira to ease the drinking water shortage.
With support from Oxfam and in partnership with the Friends of the Environment Association, and in cooperation with Abasan Al-Kabira Municipality, CMWU installed rubber tanks (bladders) with a capacity of 5 cubic meters each, at 10 points distributed across various parts of Abasan Al-Kabira town, particularly in the areas that have seen residents return, aiming to reduce the acute drinking water shortage problem resulting from the inability to operate the town's desalination plants due to their destruction by the Israeli occupation, in addition to the continued maintenance works on the Mekorot water transmission lines.
