A delegation from Oxfam and Friends of the Environment visited the Al-Bassa area in Deir al-Balah to follow up on the water and sanitation network repair project.
To review the progress of the project's works in Deir al-Balah city, a delegation from Oxfam and the Friends of the Environment Association visited the Al-Bassa area in Deir al-Balah, to review one of the work sites covered by the project to repair water and sanitation networks damaged by the Israeli war, funded by Oxfam in partnership with the Friends of the Environment Association.
This area had been suffering from a major health and environmental hazard as a result of sewage overflow caused by the damage sustained by the sanitation network in the area, which negatively affected residents and displaced persons at shelter centers near the area.
