CMWU Crews Continue Cleaning Manholes and Repairing Sanitation Networks in Rafah

CMWU crews continue carrying out maintenance and cleaning works on sanitation networks in Al-Junaina neighborhood and the Burj Awad area of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, as part of efforts to rehabilitate infrastructure that sustained severe damage as a result of recent Israeli military operations.

The Utility explained that its crews are working to clean manholes and repair damaged lines to ensure the gradual restoration of the sanitation system's normal operation, alongside maintaining wells and water sources in the governorate, amid the difficult conditions the city is experiencing as a result of the significant destruction that affected its essential facilities.

These interventions are part of the urgent response to the needs of affected residents, to ensure the improvement of essential services.

It is worth noting that CMWU continues its efforts across the various areas of the Strip to rehabilitate infrastructure and strengthen the ability of vital facilities to meet citizens' needs amid the current humanitarian challenges.
