Implementation of a Project to Repair the Sanitation Network in Gaza City Around Al-Shifa Hospital

CMWU, funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, began implementing a vital project to repair the sanitation network in Gaza City, specifically in the area surrounding Al-Shifa Hospital, aiming to improve infrastructure and strengthen the efficiency of the health and environmental system in one of the most densely populated and heavily used service areas.

This project is part of ongoing efforts to address the challenges facing the sanitation sector, and ease the environmental and health risks resulting from the deterioration of the old networks, particularly given the difficult conditions facing the city.

The project is expected to contribute to improving the quality of services provided to citizens, and support vital facilities, foremost among them Al-Shifa Hospital, by providing safe, sustainable infrastructure.
