CMWU, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council, continues desludging sanitation manholes and networks in Tal al-Hawa, Gaza, benefiting about 75,000 people so far.
#Watch | CMWU, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, continues carrying out desludging and cleaning works on sanitation manholes and networks and rainwater drainage systems.
The works have so far included desludging 200 manholes out of 550 targeted manholes, serving about 75,000 people in the Tal al-Hawa area, southwest of Gaza City, in addition to removing 15 tons of sand and sediment from sanitation stations and basins, which contributed to easing the effects of the storm and reducing flooding risks.
