CMWU carried out emergency maintenance on the water transmission line from the seawater desalination plant south of the Gaza Strip to Rafah city, aiming to repair it in order to ensure the continued supply of water to residents, as that line is considered one of the important water sources and pumps water into Canada water reservoir in Rafah city, with this reservoir serving residents in Al-Sultan neighborhood, Canada neighborhood, and the eastern areas of Rafah and other areas, numbering about 100,000 people.

It is worth noting that CMWU, during the past few days, carried out numerous maintenance works in various cities of the Strip, affecting numerous water and sanitation facilities, in order to continue supplying residents with water and sanitation services, particularly amid the current conditions.
