Emergency maintenance of main water lines in Beit Hanoun after Israeli aggression damage, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
As part of its follow-up on the damage resulting from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Hanoun Municipality and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, carried out emergency maintenance on the water line for Al-Awqaf well, Amin Al-Shawa well, Al-Nada and Abu Ghazaleh reservoirs, in addition to Zammo and Al-Ezba wells and the main water line feeding Beit Hanoun town, north of the Gaza Strip, as those lines work to pump water into the distribution networks, which in turn work to deliver water to residents' homes.
The maintenance process also included maintaining the sanitation line for Al-Sikka pumping station and also the sanitation line for the main pumping station in Beit Hanoun, as those facilities and lines serve the majority of Beit Hanoun town's residents, numbering about 40,000 people.
