Repairing the main sanitation line for Al-Atatra, Al-Sharafa, and Abu Halima areas in Beit Lahia, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Lahia Municipality, is currently repairing the main sanitation line for Al-Atatra, Al-Sharafa, and Abu Halima areas in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, as this line works to transport all the sewage water coming from those areas to the sewage pumping stations and then to the treatment plant, which prevents the formation of health hazards harmful to the environment and residents' health.
It is worth noting that this line sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, and water and sanitation networks in all areas of the Gaza Strip have sustained significant damage as a result of the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which led to massive destruction in infrastructure.
