Maintenance of the Sanitation Network at Tamous Junction in Sheikh Radwan, in Cooperation with Gaza Municipality

CMWU, in cooperation with Gaza Municipality and with funding from the Red Cross, carried out maintenance of the sanitation network at Tamous junction in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

CMWU, in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, as part of the heavy machinery rental and labor and technician provision project funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), carried out maintenance work on the sanitation network in the Tamous junction area in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

The maintenance work included inspecting a 21-meter sewage line, installing HDPE pipes, installing a sewage manhole including the base and cover, in addition to connecting a 4-inch, 5-meter-long line, desludging 6 manholes, and unblocking the sewage line.

The work also included backfilling at the intervention site, leveling the ground, and rehabilitating the site, helping to improve the efficiency of the sanitation network and reduce blockage problems and sewage leaks.
