Maintaining and rehabilitating the sanitation network in Qulaibou area in Beit Lahia, as part of the networks repair project funded by the Dutch Relief Alliance in partnership with Oxfam.
CMWU, in partnership with Oxfam, began carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation works on the sanitation network in Qulaibou area in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with Beit Lahia Municipality, as part of the project to repair and maintain water and sanitation networks in various areas of Gaza city and Beit Lahia, funded by the Dutch Relief Alliance.
It is worth noting that, during the past few days and as part of this project's works, sanitation networks were maintained and rehabilitated in Al-Seifa, Subeih, and Al-Adham Street areas, in addition to Awad Street area in Beit Lahia city, and work is currently underway to rehabilitate water networks in the Ammar bin Yasser and Ard Al-Ghoul areas in Gaza city.
This project comes as part of Oxfam's emergency response plan for water and sanitation services for affected communities in the Gaza Strip.
This project also includes maintaining and rehabilitating the water network in several areas of Gaza city, including around the Al-Jarjawi area near the Saraya intersection, in addition to rehabilitating the sanitation network on Baghdad Street and Al-Yarmouk Street, which sustained severe damage during the recent war on the Gaza Strip.
