Emergency maintenance of the sanitation transmission line from Khan Younis to Al-Fukhari treatment plant, which serves more than 200,000 people.
CMWU, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality, carried out emergency maintenance on the sanitation transmission line from the neighborhoods and cities of Khan Younis to the sewage treatment plant in Al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younis, to treat it safely.
It is worth noting that the sewage treatment plant and its associated filtration basins, located east of Khan Younis governorate, are considered among the strategic projects that will effectively work to upgrade the sewage system, and contribute to improving the health and environmental situation for the residents of Khan Younis governorate, by ending residents' suffering from the cesspit problem and benefiting from the treated water by injecting it into the groundwater aquifer, and this plant serves more than 200,000 people.
