Beginning the Development and Rehabilitation of "Jamizat Al-Sabeel" Sewage Pumping Station in Rafah

CMWU began developing and rehabilitating Jamizat Al-Sabeel pumping station in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, with the works including electromechanical maintenance for the station and installing an additional pump for it, aiming to raise its efficiency and strengthen its ability to operate during the winter season to accommodate the quantities of sewage arriving to it from Rafah city's neighborhoods, as this station serves about 150,000 people.

This comes as part of the project to maintain and rehabilitate sewage pumping stations, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
