Maintenance of sanitation manholes and pumps in Rafah to prevent overflow and strengthen readiness ahead of the rainy season.
CMWU's crews carried out maintenance on a number of sanitation manholes in various areas of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, in order to repair them and prevent sewage overflow and the formation of health hazards. Separately, CMWU also carried out emergency maintenance on sewage pumps in Rafah city, to ensure their operation as required and strengthen the level of readiness, particularly during the rainy season.
