Beginning Implementation of the Rehabilitation Project for Water and Sanitation Networks in the Abu Al-Khair and Bir Al-Na'ja Areas in Jabalia
Gaza – CMWU
CMWU, in cooperation with Jabalia Municipality and funded by Action Against Hunger (ACF), began implementing the project to rehabilitate water and sanitation networks in the streets that were subjected to Israeli bombardment during the recent Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, in the Abu Al-Khair and Bir Al-Na'ja areas in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
This project's works include installing a 10-inch-diameter, 480-meter-long sanitation line in the Abu Al-Khair area, and maintaining a 500-meter rainwater line in the Bir Al-Na'ja area, in addition to maintaining the damaged water and sanitation networks in both areas and repaving the damaged streets.
This project aims to improve the water and sanitation services in the targeted areas.
