The malfunctioning pumping system was maintained to ensure the continuity of water pumping to the residents of Al-Fukhari town, which suffers from a shortage of water supplies due to the shutdown of the wells feeding the town as a result of their location in areas of Israeli incursion. Through this intervention, other areas within Al-Fukhari Municipality's jurisdiction will also be supplied.
These efforts are part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate water facilities that were severely damaged during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, which has worsened the crisis of delivering water to citizens and displaced persons.
