CMWU, funded by Oxfam, maintained the transmission line from the South desalination plant to the North Al-Buraq reservoir in Khan Younis, serving 80,000 people.
Funded by Oxfam in partnership with the Friends of the Environment Association, and as a continuation of the maintenance works on the Al-Buraq water reservoir in Khan Younis city, CMWU began carrying out maintenance on the water transmission line from the South seawater desalination plant to the North Al-Buraq reservoir in Khan Younis city, where the line sustained severe damage as a result of continued Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, with the number of beneficiaries being (80,000) residents and displaced persons.
