Maintenance Begins on the Al-Rahma Reservoir in Khan Younis
CMWU, funded by the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection department (ECHO) and in cooperation with CARE International and the Agricultural Development Association (Agricultural Relief) and Khan Younis Municipality, began maintaining the main Al-Rahma reservoir in Khan Younis, with the site handed over to the contractor to begin work. The maintenance works include electromechanical maintenance of the pumps and the main electrical panels and the transmission line feeding the distribution network, and repairing the damage to the concrete body of the reservoir. The maintenance works also include the Al-Tahaddi and Al-Kuwaiti wells feeding the reservoir, and repair works on the service and electrical building.
