CMWU crews, in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality, carried out urgent maintenance work on the desalination plant in the Al-Naqib area of Nuseirat, as part of the Utility's ongoing efforts to maintain the continuity of water services provided to citizens under difficult conditions.
The maintenance work included repairing the technical faults that had affected the plant, which has a production capacity of about 40 cubic meters per day, restoring its operation and ensuring the continued production and supply of safe drinking water to the beneficiary areas.
The maintenance work was carried out amid significant field challenges and difficulties facing the Utility's crews, most notably the acute shortage of spare parts, materials, and technical supplies needed for maintenance work, requiring additional efforts to make use of available resources and find suitable alternatives to ensure the restoration of water facilities and the continuity of their essential services.
