CMWU received Al-Azhar University's renewable energy engineering students on a visit to the treatment and desalination plants.
CMWU received a field trip organized by Al-Azhar University for students of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, "Renewable Energy Department".
The trip's first stop was a visit to the Central Treatment Plant in Al-Bureij, central Gaza Strip, which included a field tour inside the treatment plant, in addition to a detailed explanation of the plant's various components and parts, its working mechanism, and the renewable energy sources present inside the plant, for the trip's participants.
The trip then headed to the seawater desalination plant south of the Gaza Strip, to learn about the plant's various parts, the water desalination process and the stages it goes through, and its importance in improving the water service in the targeted areas.
