CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Maghraqa Municipality and funded by UNICEF, continues the development and rehabilitation works of the sewage pumping station in Al-Maghraqa, central Gaza Strip, aiming to raise its efficiency to ensure the continuity of its operation as required and strengthen its ability to operate, particularly during the rainy season and peak hours.
This pump works to pump sewage water to the sewage treatment plant, and serves a large number of Al-Maghraqa's residents.
