CMWU received a field trip by electrical engineering students at the Islamic University at the seawater desalination plant.
As part of the scientific cooperation between CMWU and Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip, CMWU received a field trip organized by the Islamic University for a number of students of the Electrical Engineering Department, at the seawater desalination plant south of the Gaza Strip.
This trip included a field tour inside the desalination plant, in addition to a detailed explanation of the plant's various components and parts, its working mechanism, and its importance in improving the water service for residents in the targeted areas.
It is worth noting that the three seawater desalination plants constructed over the past few years in the Gaza Strip are effectively working to improve the quality of water provided to residents in various areas of the Gaza Strip, in addition to contributing to easing the burden on the groundwater aquifer, which represents the sole source of water in the Gaza Strip.
