Continuing the Rehabilitation of Amer Sewage Pumping Station North of Gaza

CMWU, funded by the Red Cross, continues rehabilitating Amer sewage pumping station north of Gaza.

CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Lahia Municipality and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, continues work on the project to rehabilitate Amer sewage pumping station near Al-Rashid Street, west of North Gaza governorate.

The project includes a complete rehabilitation of the station's pumping system, and installing new valves and mechanical systems to absorb pressure and release air, in addition to installing a surge tank to absorb and calibrate pressure, in order to provide protection to the station's sewage pressure transmission line and ensure the operational sustainability of the system and protect it, in order to prevent the formation of health hazards and sewage overflow on the seashore.
