A Red Cross Delegation Visits CMWU's Regional Headquarters in Rafah

A delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross visits CMWU's regional headquarters in Rafah to review its funded solar power and SCADA projects.

A delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross visited CMWU's regional headquarters in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, aiming to review the projects implemented in Rafah funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, as the delegation visited the Canada water reservoir to review the solar power system established at the reservoir in order to increase the number of hours it operates to improve the water service for residents of the areas benefiting from it, in addition to the TRC2 well, for which a remote control and monitoring system "SCADA" was established, and Al-Jineina sewage pumping station, for which a permanent electric power line was constructed, to ensure its operation particularly during peak hours and the winter season.

The delegation was received by the Director of CMWU's Rafah regional headquarters Eng. Mohammed Al-Abweini, the Director of the Projects Department at CMWU's Rafah headquarters Eng. Fareed Shaaban, and the Director of the Water Department Eng. Alaa Al-Hims.
