
Receiving a field trip for renewable energy engineering students at Al-Azhar University, which included visits to the Central Treatment Plant east of Al-Bureij and the seawater desalination plant south of the Strip.
CMWU Receives a Field Trip Organized by Al-Azhar University

CMWU received a field trip organized by Al-Azhar University for a number of students of the Renewable Energy Engineering Department at the university, with the trip's first stop being a visit to the Central Treatment Plant east of Al-Bureij camp, where this visit included a field tour inside the treatment plant, in addition to a detailed explanation of the plant's various components and parts and its working mechanism, for the students participating in the trip.
In turn, CMWU's Executive Director Eng. Monther Shoblaq affirmed CMWU's keenness to strengthen scientific cooperation with all universities of the Gaza Strip and the various engineering professional syndicates, in order to develop the capacities and skills of engineering crews in the Gaza Strip.
The trip then headed to the seawater desalination plant south of the Gaza Strip, aiming to learn about the desalination process and its various stages and how the plant is operated and benefits from alternative energy sources in its operation.
In turn, Dr. Adnan Ayesh, coordinator of the field trip and a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Azhar University, thanked CMWU for its warm reception and the efforts it makes for the success of the various field trips, which have a positive and effective impact on developing the skills of engineering faculty students.
