Completion of Maintenance and Rehabilitation of a Number of Water Wells in Various Areas of the Gaza Strip
Gaza – CMWU
CMWU, funded by Action Against Hunger, carried out maintenance and rehabilitation works on a number of water wells in various areas of the Gaza Strip, with the works including maintaining and rehabilitating Jamila Al-Shawa and Al-Sina'iya wells in Beit Hanoun town, the Cultural Center well in Khan Younis city, and the eastern water well in Abasan Al-Jadida town, in addition to well 148 and one of the Saudi reservoir's wells in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.
This project carried out electromechanical maintenance for these wells and maintained their manifolds, in addition to all their damaged components, aiming to raise their efficiency and improve the water service provided to residents in the areas benefiting from them, particularly with the onset of the summer season.
CMWU, in cooperation with the municipalities of the Gaza Strip and funded by numerous international organizations, works on maintaining water wells in all areas of the Gaza Strip to ensure the continued supply of water to residents.
