CMWU Receives a Delegation from the Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University

CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq received an academic delegation from the Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University, with the delegation including Prof. Dr. Wissam Ashour, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Aati, and Prof. Dr. Ammar Abu Hadrous, and they were received, alongside the Director-General, by his Deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Mamdouh Al-Ghazali.
The attendees discussed ways to strengthen the existing partnership agreement between CMWU and the Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University, by continuing work on the activities of the Smart Cities in Palestine project, in which the Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University, Birzeit University, Ramallah Municipality, and a number of European universities participate.
It is worth noting that this project aims to upgrade the level of skills and knowledge of Faculty of Engineering students and graduates by equipping them with the skills needed to enter the labor market in the field of energy and smart cities, and this project also contributes to developing qualitative elective courses to increase the applied field in students' academic plans, in addition to developing the Faculty's laboratories and facilities and training students in distinguished technical and entrepreneurial fields.
