CMWU carried out emergency maintenance on the sanitation line for Martyr Fathi Al-Shaqaqi School (UNDP) in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, in response to an emergency report of a blockage in the sanitation line of the school's health facility, which led to sewage water accumulating inside the facility and it going out of service.
This emergency intervention comes aiming to maintain general hygiene inside the school and prevent the formation of health hazards harmful to students and the school environment, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic and students' return to their classrooms.
