Receiving the "Our Country Is Sweeter" camp for people with special needs at the Southern seawater desalination plant as part of public awareness activities.
CMWU received the "Our Country Is Sweeter" camp, organized by the Friends Association for People with Special Needs in partnership with the Pal-Think for Strategic Studies organization, at the Southern seawater desalination plant, as part of the Utility's efforts and activities in public awareness and community participation events, aiming to introduce the camp's participants to the plant, its working mechanism, and its effective role in improving the quality of water in the areas benefiting from that plant.
It is worth noting that the three seawater desalination plants in the Gaza Strip, located along the coastal strip, are considered among the most important strategic projects that contribute to improving water quality for residents of the targeted areas in Gaza, Deir al-Balah, Al-Zawayda, Khan Younis, and Rafah, in addition to easing the burden on the groundwater aquifer in the Gaza Strip by closing numerous wells with high salinity.
