CMWU Begins Implementing the First Phase of Connecting Al-Zubaidia "Al-Rumeilat" Area in Rafah to the Water Network

CMWU began implementing the first phase of connecting Al-Zubaidia "Al-Rumeilat" area in Rafah governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, to the water network, aiming to end the suffering of that area's residents by working to bring water to residents' homes in that area, as that area suffers from a shortage in water supplies as a result of its distance from water sources, being located east of Rafah city near the Palestinian-Egyptian border.
It is worth noting that this phase will be followed by another phase aiming to connect the rest of the area to the water network, in addition to constructing a water reservoir, which will fully resolve the water crisis in that area.
In this context, CMWU thanked UNICEF for its continued support, its emergency response, and its provision of all the materials needed to complete the first phase of connecting Al-Zubaidia area to the water network.
