CMWU Distributes Chlorine Solution to All Sewage Facilities in the Gaza Strip

CMWU, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, distributed chlorine solution to all sewage treatment and pumping stations in the Gaza Strip, aiming to disinfect those facilities and protect the crews working in them amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It is worth noting that CMWU has set up a program including numerous procedures and activities aiming to strengthen coronavirus-related preventive measures, with CMWU having, over the past days and months and even before the discovery of the coronavirus outbreak in the Gaza Strip, distributed protective tools and clothing and numerous disinfection materials to the crews working at the Strip's municipalities, in addition to organizing and hosting numerous workshops and training courses aiming to train and qualify the crews working in water and sanitation to deal with those tools and how to work during pandemic outbreaks within the Gaza Strip, in order to preserve their safety, in addition to disinfecting all water and sanitation facilities in all areas of the Gaza Strip.
