CMWU Signs an Agreement with Operation Al-Fares Al-Shahm 3 to Drill and Equip Water Wells in Gaza

CMWU signed a cooperation agreement with Operation Al-Fares Al-Shahm 3 aimed at drilling and equipping water wells in the Gaza Strip, as part of efforts aimed at easing the worsening water crisis in the area.

The project includes drilling advanced wells, starting with two wells in Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis cities, to provide water for about 10,000 people, as a continuation of two previous phases of the project that focused on improving water infrastructure.

This step comes as part of the humanitarian initiatives implemented by the United Arab Emirates to support the residents of the Gaza Strip, and strengthen their access to safe, sustainable water sources.

CMWU expressed its thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its wise leadership, and to Operation Al-Fares Al-Shahm 3, for this vital support, which contributes to strengthening citizens' resilience and easing their suffering amid the difficult conditions facing the Strip.
