CMWU Continues Supplying Displaced Persons with Drinking Water
As part of its ongoing efforts to provide essential needs to displaced persons across the various areas of the Gaza Strip, CMWU continues supplying residents and displaced persons in various areas and shelter centers with drinking water for displaced families.
This step is a continuation of the response to the difficult humanitarian conditions displaced persons are living as a result of the consecutive crises facing the Strip due to the continuing Israeli war.
It is worth noting that the water utility has distributed drinking water via mobile stations and tanker trucks dedicated to transporting water to the areas with the largest numbers of displaced persons, to ensure clean, safe water is available to affected families, particularly given the increased need for water due to the population density in camps and areas hosting displaced persons.
The water utility continues its efforts, in cooperation with local and international parties, to expand the scope of water distribution and ensure it reaches the largest possible number of residents and displaced persons.
