CMWU Completes Maintenance Works on Well 35 in Nuseirat
CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Nuseirat Municipality, completed technical maintenance works on well No. 35, located within Nuseirat Municipality's jurisdiction, as part of ongoing efforts to improve water services and ensure their continuity in the area.
The maintenance works included supplying and installing new electrical control parts, aiming to reactivate the well and raise its operational efficiency, ensuring the stability of water pumping to citizens and easing the pressure on other water sources in the area.
This step is part of an emergency plan developed by the Utility in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality to ensure the continuity of water access for residents, particularly given the exceptional conditions facing the area and the urgent need for safe, stable water sources.
CMWU affirmed its full commitment to continuing its efforts to maintain and operate vital water facilities, contributing to strengthening citizens' resilience and ensuring their basic right to access water.
