Extending a water line from the Central seawater desalination plant to Al-Zawayda town to improve the water service for about 26,000 people.
CMWU extended a water line from the Central Governorate's "Al-Bassa" seawater desalination plant to Al-Zawayda town, central Gaza Strip, aiming to pump desalinated water into the town's water distribution network, to improve the water services provided to the town's residents, numbering about 26,000 people.
It is worth noting that this plant also serves the residents of Deir al-Balah city, numbering about 85,000 people, as high-quality desalinated water is pumped to water reservoirs in Deir al-Balah city to be mixed with water from some wells, which improves the quality of water provided to residents and eases the burden on the groundwater aquifer.
