CMWU Disinfects All Water and Sanitation Facilities in Rafah Governorate

CMWU's crews affiliated with its regional headquarters in Rafah disinfected all water and sanitation facilities in Rafah city, in order to strengthen coronavirus-related preventive measures and to protect workers from the risks of the pandemic's spread.
In addition, CMWU's crews addressed a number of mosquito breeding sites in various locations in Rafah governorate, as part of following up on and addressing residents' complaints received.
These various disinfection operations carried out by CMWU, targeting all water and sanitation facilities in the Gaza Strip, come as part of CMWU's efforts and plan aiming to strengthen precautionary measures to confront the novel coronavirus and the risks of its spread, with CMWU periodically carrying out comprehensive disinfection operations for all water wells, water desalination plants, and sewage treatment plants located in all governorates of the Strip.
