In Cooperation with Al-Maghraqa Municipality.. CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on One of the Main Water Lines Feeding Al-Maghraqa Town

Gaza / CMWU

As part of its follow-up on all operation and maintenance requests for water and sanitation facilities in the Gaza Strip, in cooperation and coordination with all the Gaza Strip's municipalities, CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Maghraqa Municipality, carried out emergency maintenance on one of the main water lines feeding Al-Maghraqa town, as this line transports water from Al-Kawthar well and reservoir to the water network in Al-Maghraqa town, and is considered one of the most important water lines feeding that area, with this line's burst having caused a cutoff of water to residents.

It is worth noting that CMWU has, since the declaration of the state of emergency and the imposition of the curfew in the Gaza Strip as a result of the coronavirus spreading within the community, responded to numerous emergency maintenance and operation requests for the Strip's various municipalities, in order to ensure the continued provision of services to residents, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic.
