CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on a Number of Water Networks in Rafah Governorate

CMWU's crews affiliated with its regional headquarters in Rafah carried out maintenance on a number of water networks in various locations in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, with CMWU's crews carrying out emergency maintenance on the water network in Al-Brazil neighborhood and East Al-Salam neighborhood, in addition to the water network of the Saudi neighborhood, aiming to raise the efficiency of the water networks in those areas to ensure the continued supply of water to residents.
It is worth noting that CMWU's crews in Rafah daily carry out numerous emergency maintenance works for various water and sanitation facilities in Rafah city, in addition to following up on and addressing residents' complaints received daily, with CMWU's crews continuing to work around the clock since the imposition of the curfew and the declaration of the state of emergency in the Gaza Strip, in order to ensure the continued provision of services to residents in Rafah governorate, particularly amid the current crisis the Strip is going through as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and its repercussions on all aspects of life.
