As part of the works of the "Rehabilitation, Maintenance, and Development of Sewage Pumping Stations Project" funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Hanoun Municipality, carried out maintenance on "Sultan Abdul Hamid" sewage pumping station in Beit Hanoun city, north of the Gaza Strip, as that pump works to pump sewage water to the sewage treatment plant and serves a large number of residents in Beit Hanoun city.
It is worth noting that this project aims to develop and rehabilitate sewage pumping stations and facilities in all cities of the Gaza Strip, aiming to raise their efficiency to ensure the continuation of their operation as required, in addition to preparing them to receive the winter season.
