CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on the Desalination Plant Water Well in Bani Suheila, South Gaza Strip

CMWU, in cooperation with Bani Suheila Municipality, carried out comprehensive maintenance on the desalination plant water well in Bani Suheila area, Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip, aiming to raise that well's efficiency, which leads to improving the quantities of water reaching residents' homes, as this well is considered one of the most important water sources in that area.
This intervention comes as part of the "Water and Sanitation Vehicles and Facilities Maintenance Project" funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, with this project having contributed to strengthening the capacity of CMWU and the municipalities to provide their services to residents, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic and the exceptional circumstances it has imposed on the Gaza Strip.
