CMWU Rehabilitates Al-Mashrou' Water Well in Beit Lahia City

As part of the "Emergency Maintenance of Water and Sanitation Facilities" project funded by the Office of the UN Special Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) through the Developmental Action Ma'an Center, CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Lahia Municipality, rehabilitated "Al-Mashrou'" water well in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, with the rehabilitation process including carrying out maintenance on the well's pumping system and replacing all its damaged parts, aiming to raise its efficiency, which leads to increasing the quantities of water produced by the well and pumped into the distribution network and improving the water services provided to residents, as this well serves residents in Al-Mashrou' and Al-Amal neighborhood areas, in addition to the main street and Aslan neighborhood, numbering about 20,000 people.
