CMWU carried out maintenance and rehabilitation on a number of electric power generators for water and sanitation facilities in the Central and North Gaza governorates, funded by UNICEF, and implemented by local contractor "Abu Jihad Yassin Electric Generators Company".
The maintenance and rehabilitation works included the power generators of the "Al-Saftawi" rainwater basins, "Hawaber" sewage pumping station, and Abu Huseir water well in Jabalia city, north of the Gaza Strip, Al-Manshiya pumping station, Al-Muntazah well, and Tal Al-Zohour well in Beit Lahia, in addition to the power generators at the Central, Southern, and Northern seawater desalination plants, "Al-Sultan" sewage pumping station, and Obeida rainwater basin, in addition to Al-Jineina basin in Rafah city, south of the Strip.
