As a continuation of its efforts aimed at improving the reality of water services in all areas of the Gaza Strip, CMWU, in cooperation with Jabalia Municipality and in partnership with the Palestinian Environmental Friends (PEF) Association, funded by the Office of the UN Special Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) through Oxfam, carried out maintenance on the western Abu Shurkh water well in Jabalia city, north of the Gaza Strip, with the worn-out parts of the well's equipment replaced and the pump and its accessories maintained, aiming to raise its efficiency, which leads to improving the quantity of water reaching residents' homes in the areas fed with water by the well.
