CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on L-179 Well in Al-Qarara

CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Qarara Municipality and funded by Human Appeal UK, carried out maintenance on L-179 "Al-Hajj Marazeeq" well in Al-Qarara town, Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip, with the maintenance process including replacing all damaged parts of the well with new ones, as those malfunctions had negatively affected the well's operation, leading to disruption in the water distribution schedule followed in the town.
It is worth noting that CMWU had, over the past period, carried out maintenance on numerous water wells and reservoirs in all areas of the Gaza Strip, to ensure water reaches residents' homes, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic and the pressing need for water.
