CMWU Adopts a Single Electronic Window System to Facilitate Residents' Transactions in Rafah.

Rafah - As part of its continuous work to provide the best services and facilities to residents, CMWU is adopting the single-window system, an electronic system that replaces routine paper procedures with computerized procedures through which the tasks of transactions for subscribers to CMWU's services in Rafah are facilitated.

This qualitative system, at the level of the Strip, aims to facilitate transaction procedures of all kinds, and to save the time and effort spent by both residents and employees at the Subscriber Services Department, and it also reduces the rate of potential procedural errors and greatly limits the loss of paper data that might be damaged or lost while completing residents' transactions.

Eng. Firas Abu Nqira, Director of the Utility's regional headquarters in Rafah, affirmed the importance and efficiency of this program and its facilitation of transactions, and its great contribution to speeding up the service provided to residents and eliminating the need for them to wait for long periods, while also strengthening the principle of administrative oversight, as all departments related to the transaction can track and review the progress of procedures, each according to their specialization and authority, as well as make electronic and immediate adjustments and observations to ensure the transaction proceeds in the optimal manner.

It is worth noting that CMWU is currently launching a 20% discount campaign for subscribers committed to paying the water bill, in appreciation of the Utility for their commitment and as a contribution to easing the burden on residents amid the difficult living conditions the population of the Gaza Strip is going through.
