CMWU in Rafah Continues Its Campaign to Inspect and Clean Water and Sanitation Networks.
Rafah - As part of CMWU's efforts to ensure the quality of performance of water and sanitation facilities in Rafah governorate, the technical maintenance crews at CMWU in Rafah continue carrying out several field inspection tours to clean and maintain sewage networks in various areas of Rafah governorate, south of the Gaza Strip.
This campaign aims to prevent any health hazard residents in the governorate might be exposed to, and to ensure work at those networks is proceeding in the best manner, and to address any malfunction that might lead to blocking the networks and harming the service, with the technical crews' maintenance of those networks also leading to increasing the efficiency of work at them and saving a lot of effort should they malfunction and become blocked due to their continuous use, which increases the efficiency of work at those networks.
CMWU's crews in Rafah also continuously respond and provide immediate response to the emergency calls issued by residents in various areas of Rafah governorate, and move quickly to address those reports with high efficiency and effectiveness.
In turn, Eng. Firas Abu Nqira, Director of the Utility's regional headquarters in Rafah, affirmed that responding to reports received from residents represents a top priority for the Utility and its various crews, noting that the interventions carried out by the Utility are daily interventions, around the clock, to always ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of water and sanitation networks in various areas of Rafah governorate, and to preserve residents' homes and property and spare them any health hazard.
Abu Nqira also expressed his thanks to the maintenance crews and his appreciation for their effort and dedicated, tireless work in providing the fastest and best services, and their keenness on residents' comfort and responding to their calls immediately and urgently.
