The Water Sector Regulatory Council and CMWU discussed the performance indicators for water and sanitation services for 2022, in the presence and participation of CMWU's Executive Director Eng. Monther Shoblaq, his Deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Mamdouh Al-Ghazali, Water Sector Regulation Advisor Mr. Ramez Al-Madhoun, and Eng. Abdullah Hijazi, Performance Monitoring Officer at the Council in the Gaza Strip, and a number of department directors and section heads at CMWU at the main headquarters and the Rafah regional headquarters.

It is worth noting that the performance indicators indicate the various components and elements of the operational status of water and sanitation services at the financial, administrative, and technical levels, collection rates, and others, which helps CMWU and the municipalities improve their performance and avoid any shortcomings in operational processes or regarding costs, by holding consultative meetings to enrich the process of auditing and correcting data given its importance.

It is worth noting that the Water Sector Regulatory Council collects and analyzes water and sanitation service indicator data at CMWU and all municipalities and reviews it annually, to obtain financial, technical, operational, and other indicators related to water and sanitation, to present them again to CMWU and the municipalities before approving them in the national report.
