The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility has received financing from The International Committee of The Red Cross toward the cost of Construction of West Al-Nusirat Pumping Station; Wastewater Networks & Household Connections and intends to apply the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Water Facilities.
2. The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders "classified and registered under the specialization of Electromechanical 1st and 2nd class and Water & Wastewater 1st and 2nd class" for Construction of West Al-Nusirat Pumping Station, Wastewater Networks & Household Connections, CMWU-ICRC 18/2015.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from CMWU, Gaza, Eng. Monther Shoblaq, and E-mail: cmwu@cmwu.ps, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below, from 08:00 to 15:30 hours – from Sunday to Thursday.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below from 08:00 to 15:30 hours – from Sunday to Thursday and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Two hundred & Fifty US$ ($250) or equivalent amount of freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be Bank Deposit to the CMWU Account No. 0458/0223900/001/3001/30, Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, Bank of Palestine. The Bidding Documents will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery and by courier or through the supplier's representative for local delivery.
6. Bids prices shall be valid for 90 days counted from the date of bid opening.
7. A pre-bid meeting shall take place at the address below at 10:00 AM local time, 10 September 2015.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 02:00 PM local time, 15 September 2015. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 02:00 PM local time, 15 September 2015.
9. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD 35,000.00 or an equivalent amount in freely convertible currency. The validity of the bid security is 120 days counted from the date of bid opening.
10. The cost of announcement will be paid by the successful bidder.
11. CMWU is not committed to the lowest bid price.
12. All Prices shall be VAT excluding and the successful bidder shall provide a stamped (ZERO-VAT) invoice.
